Beyond Our Comfort

July 27, 2025

Luke 14:12–24

Belonging grows when we make space for those we wouldn’t normally include.
Jesus challenges us to expand our circle. The Kingdom of God is not an exclusive club but a wide-open table. We are called to extend the same radical hospitality we’ve received to those who have yet to know they belong.

When Family Gets Real

Genesis 45:1–15

There is no live stream today. We are worshiping downtown, outside. Come join us at 11am. God can bring healing even in our most fractured relationships.
Through the story of Joseph and his brothers, we witness the power of forgiveness and the possibility of reconciliation. Family is often where our deepest wounds are — but also where God's grace does some of its deepest work.

Psalm 139:1–14

We cannot truly belong to others until we make peace with ourselves.
Being known by God means accepting that we are fearfully and wonderfully made — even the parts of ourselves we try to hide. Grace begins when we let God’s vision of us reshape how we see ourselves.

Thirst Beneath the Surface

Psalm 42:1–8

Spiritual longing is not a sign of weak faith — it's where belonging begins.
We begin by naming our deep spiritual thirst. Like the psalmist, we bring our longing and our questions to God. Even in times of silence or distance, God meets us in the deep.
